أكدت إذاعتنا أن 266 أسيراً دخلوا في شهر مايو/أيار أعوامًا جديدة داخل سجون الاحتلال.
وذكرت الإذاعة أن شهر مايو شهد مرحلة احتقان بالسجون، عقب دخول عدد من الأسرى إضرابات ضد سياسة الاعتقال الادارة واحتجاجًا على ظروف اعتقالهم الغير انسانية.
وأوضحت الإذاعة أن من بين الأسرى الذين دخلوا أعواما جديدة 41 أسيرًا محكومين بالسجن المؤبد مدى الحياة، وخمسة أسرى محكومين ما يزيد عن 30 عامًا ، و22 أسيرًا محكومًا ما يزيد عن 20 عامًا، و54 أسيرًا محكومًا ما يزيد عن عشرة أعوام، و12 أسيرًا محكومًا أقل من عشرة أعوام، و127 أسيرًا مازالوا موقوفين ينتظرون المحاكمة.
وبينت الإذاعة أن 18 أسيراً من مدينة القدس المحتلة، وخمسة أسرى من داخل الخط الأخضر، و 28 أسيراً من قطاع غزة، و215 أسيراً من الضفة الغربية المحتلة.
بدوره أكد مدير عام إذاعة صوت الأسرى طارق عز الدين أن الأسرى داخل السجون يعيشون حياة صعبة للغاية في ظل تزايد هجمة الانتهاكات بحقهم والإهمال الطبي المتعمد الذي تمارسه ادارة سجون الاحتلال بحقهم.
وطالب عز الدين كافة المؤسسات الحقوقية والإنسانية والدولية بالوقوف عند مسئولياتها اتجاه ما يجري بحق الأسرى داخل سجون الاحتلال من انتهاكاتٍ واعتداءاتٍ وتنكيلٍ والتي تتنافى مع المواثيق والأعراف الدولية التي كفلت لهم حقوقهم المشروعة.

Asra Voice Radio confirmed that 266 Palestinian prisoners start new years of captivity inside Israeli jails during May/2016.
Asra Voice Radio also assured that the month of May has witnessed fray and congestion in the prisons in the Israeli jails due to the hunger strikes that some of prisoners started against that policy of administrative detention and the harsh inhumane imprisonment conditions.
Asra voice radio stated that 41 of the Palestinian prisoners started new years of imprisonment inside Israeli jails during May/2016 are sentenced to Imprisonment for life in addition to 5 sentenced to more than 30 years and 22 prisoners sentenced to more than 20 years while there are 54 prisoners sentenced to more than 10 years and other 12 prisoners sentenced to less than 10 years, whereas 127 prisoners are detainees awaiting trial.
The Radio showed that 18 of them are from the occupied Jerusalem, 5 prisoners from the Palestinian occupied territories in 1948, and 28 prisoners are from the Gaza Strip, while the largest number of prisoners estimated to 215 are from the occupied West Bank.
“The Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails are experiencing difficult life circumstance in the light of the increasing severity of Israeli violations against them in coinciding with deliberate medical neglect policy practiced by the Israeli administration of prisons.” Director General of Asra Voice Radio Tarek Ezzedine said.
Izz al-Din called upon all human rights and international institutions to act immediately according to their responsibilities against what is going on against the prisoners and against violations of attacks and harassment, which are contrary to international norms and conventions that ensured their rights and freedoms.
