More than 300 Palestinian prisoners start new years of captivity and oppression inside the Israeli Jails

Asra Voice Radio confirmed that 306 Palestinian prisoners start new years of captivity and oppression inside the Israeli Jails during the month of June.

 

The radio showed that among these prisoners, a number of 35 Palestinian prisoners are sentenced to life imprisonment while 8 prisoners are sentenced to life imprison in addition to 30 years, 31 prisoners are sentenced to life imprisonment with more than 20 years, 45 prisoners are sentenced to more than 10 years of imprisonment, 10 prisoners are sentenced to less than 10 years of imprisonment and 177 prisoners are detained waiting for trials.

 

The month of June witnessed the extension of detention for a number of prisoners such as Haitham Ajaj whose detention ended yesterday, 28 of June. It is extended to a new four-month for the third time in a row.

 

During June, the Israeli Occupation transferred Belal Kaid( 35 years old) to administrative detention after He finished his 14-year-old and a half sentence. It’s worth mentioning that he has started a hunger strike since 13 of June.

As well as the Israeli occupation has rejected under flimsy pretexts to release the prisoner Mohammed Hassan El Sayed (39 years), it’s important to be mentioned that he is the oldest Egyptian prisoner in spite he finished his judgment what is 13 years.

 

From his part, the ex-prisoner Tarek Izz Eldeen, the general director for Asra Voice Radio, calls all of the human right agencies to stand together towards their responsibilities for the prisoners’ humanitarian cases and issues, in particular those who finished their judgments and the occupation still refuse to release them without any legal pretexts.
